NEW UZBEKISTAN UNIVERSITY DELEGATION IN THE USA
The delegation of New Uzbekistan University met with Professor Vladimir Bulovic, Director of the MIT.nano R&D Center of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
The delegation visited the MIT.nano R&D center and got acquainted with the new laboratories and experimental processes.
Afterwards, the first vice-rector for academic affairs of the university, Professor Elyorjon Jumaev made a presentation of the New Uzbekistan University. At the end of the presentation, a conversation was held about the internal structure and curricula of the university.
In the second half of the day, a meeting was held with the director of the MIT e-open learning department, Dr. Vijay Kumar, Associate Director Julia Carolina Reynolds, Amy Taber, as well as Professor of Mechanical Engineering department, John Brisson and Professor of Business management department, Anjali Sastry.
At the end of the meetings, the future plans of the university with MIT as well as issues related to the structure of the university were discussed.
On April 13th, the delegation will meet with the vice-presidents of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
