PIIMA director pays visit to the creative school named after Halima Khudoyberdiyeva in Syrdarya region

Director of the Agency for Development of Presidential, Creative and Specialized Schools under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan (PIIMA) Khilola Umarova visited the creative school named after Halima Khudoyberdiyeva in Syrdarya region.

The visit of the PIIMA director was organized to get acquainted with the activities of the school and determine further plans for the development of the educational institution. Earlier, the head of the agency visited the subordinate schools in Tashkent and Ferghana Valley.

The director of the creative school named after Halima Khudoyberdiyeva Muhammad Ismoil spoke about the activities of the school. It was noted that the pupils of the school, along with their native language, study Turkish, Spanish, English and Russian. The school has subject and sports, as well as applied arts clubs.

During the visit, PIIMA director Khilola Umarova got acquainted with the activities of the school, the conditions created for students and teachers, as well as the problems of the educational institution. The head of the agency visited classrooms, a library, laboratories for chemistry, physics and biology, as well as a school dormitory.

She also spoke with the school team and students. During the conversation, issues to improve the quality of education, as well as proposals from the school leadership in this area were discussed. In particular, they discussed issues on the creation of methodologies and textbooks on such subjects as the native language, literature, etc.

During the visit, the Director of the Agency awarded the winners of competitions held in the PIIMA system, local Olympiads and competitions.

The creative school named after Halima Khudoyberdiyeva in Syrdarya region was established on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in 2019.

The school is designed for 150 students. There are 20 classrooms, a laboratory, a library with a fund of 5,000 books, 3 assembly halls, a dormitory and a canteen, a media center, as well as a small printing house, a gym and an outdoor sports complex. The school has a museum dedicated to the life and work of the poetess Halima Khudoyberdiyeva.
