Student of the Presidential School enrolls in Xavier University

A student of the Presidential School in the city of Tashkent, Firdavs Abdukayumov, won the Presidential Grant of Xavier University, which will give him the opportunity to study at this university, located in Cincinnati (Ohio, USA).

The amount of the Presidential Grant is US$89,000. Xavier University was founded in 1831. The university is one of the leading universities in the United States. Xavier University is ranked 330th in the Times Higher Education rankings.

Firdavs Abdukayumov noted that he began to prepare his applications in the summer. He successfully passed the SAT and IELTS exams, and then submitted his documents. He sent his papers to six universities from the United States. He recently received a letter from Xavier University. The letter notes that he was admitted to the university and received the Presidential grant for US$89,000.

“This was unexpected news for me. I am delighted to have the opportunity to study at one of the leading US universities. I want to thank everyone who helped me prepare,” Firdavs Abdukayumov noted.

Students of the 11th grade of the Presidential School in Tashkent began to send their documents to foreign higher educational institutions. I am sure that with the knowledge they received at school, they will be able to enter a university.
