Over 160 students of the subordinate schools of the Agency for Development of Presidential, Creative and Specialized Schools took part in the online mathematics Olympiad on 15 January 2021.
The online Olympiad was organized by the Agency for Development of Presidential, Creative and Specialized Schools and the Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan.
Some 160 students of grades 7 and 8 of Presidential, creative and specialized schools took part in the online Olympiad. 10 students from each school took part in the Olympiad.
The participants of the Olympiad solved 15 tests and 15 problems within two hours. The questions of the Olympiad will be drawn up based on state educational standards and curricula, as well as international programs.
The jury of the online Olympiad plans to announce the results by 20 January 2021. According to the results of the online Olympiad, 18 students who scored the highest number of points will have the opportunity to take part in the Republican Olympiad in Mathematics named after Al-Khorezmi.
It is expected that the Republican Olympiad in Mathematics named after Al-Khorezmi will be held in February this year. Prior to that, the team of the Agency for the Development of Presidential, Creative and Specialized Schools will separately prepare for the Olympiad with experienced teachers.
